The Workflow Builder is found under Admin > Workflows in the left navigation. It is the central place where HR and administrators design, configure, and manage the performance processes that run across the organisation — things like performance reviews, pulse surveys, 360 feedback requests, one-on-one check-ins, and onboarding journeys.

Once a workflow is built here, it can be launched manually or triggered automatically through Automations, and employees will see it appear in their Workflows screen when it's time to take action.

What is a Workflow?

A workflow is a structured, multi-step process that moves between one or more participants in the organisation. You define the process once in the Workflow Builder, and Crewmojo handles the coordination — notifying participants, tracking progress, and collecting responses along the way.

Common examples include:

• Performance reviews — structured self-assessments and manager evaluations run on a cycle
• Pulse surveys — quick feedback collection sent to a group of employees
• 360 feedback — gathering input on an employee from multiple colleagues
• One-on-ones — structured check-in conversations between a manager and their direct report
• Onboarding workflows — guided processes for new starters joining the organisation
