Audiences

Audiences are dynamic, customisable groups of people based custom criteria. They can be used throughout the platform, making performance more agile.

Configuring Audiences

Open company settings and navigate to the "Audiences" tab.

Click on the "Add Audience" button.

Give your audience a name (and a description if you want).

Now you can set out the criteria for who will be a part of the audience.

Select a category. These are based on Crewmojo data. Each criteria will require you to specify an operation and sometimes a value.

Use groups to keep your criteria organised. There is an "x" button which can be used to delete groups or criteria.

The three dots menu gives you options to:

  • View - View the members of the audience in a data grid.

  • Edit - Edit the criteria of the audience.

  • Rebuild Audience - Refresh which humans are in the audience (as criteria or data may have changed).

  • Where Used? - See where around the platform the audience is being used. This is useful to check before you make changes. (Also presented in a data grid).

  • Deactivate - Deactivate the audience.

Custom Metadata

You can request custom profile metadata to match your organisations specific processes by emailing the team at hello@crewmojo.com . This new metadata field will appear as a new criteria option when setting up audiences, enabling it to be used all over the platform.

Using Audiences

Journeys

Each journey can be configured with an "Audience Filter". This filter is applied after the enrolment trigger, meaning you can still use the full range of enrolment triggers to get your journey going.

Use the "Select Audiences" button to select which audiences will be part of the filter.

Reviews

Audiences can cut admin times down on reviews significantly. When configuring a review, reviewees will be able to be selected through audiences. Simply select the audience(s) and every human in the latest build of that audience will be added to the review process.

Audiences can therefore be used to send different reviews out to different people based on platform data, all automated.
