When you are added to or create a team, it will appear as a new tile in Crewmojo. The team leader(s) are shown on the left of the white divider while the rest of the members are on the right. There is no limit to the number of leaders or members that can be in a team.
To schedule a team meeting, click the calendar icon in the top right. If you are not in the team (eg, are HR), you will need to use the three dots menu to access this button.
Unlike 1-on-1s, there are no specific team meeting types and activities. Instead, you're required to give your meeting a name.
By default, all the team members will be participants. Click on the pencil icon to add/remove people from the invite list. You can invite people from outside the team and exclude people from within the team, where necessary.
Now you have the option to schedule your meeting. You have the option to not schedule the meeting by clicking "Don't Schedule". This will create the meeting as usual to either be scheduled or carried out spontaneously.
Select the time and date of your meeting. Clicking on date will bring up a calendar for you to select a date from, while clicking on time will bring up that person's timeline for the day, with their busy periods in red. Use the blue dots to change the start and end time of the meeting, or simply drag the entire block to move the meeting without changing its length.
You have the option to enter a physical location in the "Location" input box. You company may have also set up some meeting room options.
You have the option to set the meeting as recurring. This will automatically create the meeting at the specified interval. First, select the interval measure. If you select daily, you then have the option of how many days the interval should be. If you select weekly, you have the option of how many weeks, and so on. In this example, I have selected weekly and specified that I want the meeting to schedule every two weeks on Tuesday and Thursday. Finally, you can set a end date for this recurrence, or simply leave this field blank if you want the meeting to be rescheduled indefinitely. Click the tick in the top right when you have configured.
If your company has integrated Crewmojo with a meeting platform such as Zoom, these will be selectable just above the next button. Selecting one will automatically create a meeting in the relevant app and add a button to open the online platform (such as a zoom link) in the 1-on-1.
Finally, confirm and hit send.
The team meeting dialogue is simple, allowing you to add talking points, action items, attachments, and a simple chat feature.
Crewmojo supports a chat feature within teams. Only team leaders can enable this feature. To enable this feature, click the three dots in the top right and select "Enable Chat".
This feature not enabled by default as teams often already have a way of communicating, but the option is there.
Objectives in Crewmojo function at the company, team and personal level. Clicking "add..." on the team tile opens up the objectives dialogue. It's easy to cascade goals this way. All of this is explored in the "Objectives" page of this guide.
Additional team levels can be created using "team types". These can be used to align objectives with more control.
Open company settings and navigate to the teams tab.
Click "Add Team Type" and give it a name. You can then assign any theme to the team type, or leave it as the default set in the themes configuration.
You can also change the icon displayed on your team's tile. To do this, open team settings, and upload and position an image.
